Awaken

Awaken

During these turbulent times, we must tend the garden well….the inner landscape; the deserts, the swamps, the dark valleys where there is no light, and the plateaus where we witness the beginning of a new day. Shy not away from the discomfort of your soul, or your weary legs as we climb that glorious mountain. Maintain your commitment to reach that summit where you can feel the beauty that now surrounds you. Acknowledge means to heal. Feel all that lives within your sacred space and give it a resting place where you provide the comfort that is being needed. Sit in the comfort of your sacredness. Let us heal today, the all that we are witnessing and born to experience. Blessings to all of Life and give me the capacity to respond in a healing way.

NewYear 2017

NewYear 2017

Your path may not be mine
My path not yours
The broken branches
On this tree of mine
Possibly we share
Regardless the outcome
Yours or mine
Ours not to judge
Life will reveal
The choices we have made
My prayer is for justice
However defined
My prayer is for compassion
That we all share
In our Hearts
May our differences
Bind us
May our differences
Build community
May our differences
Bring respect
May our differences
Honor the one thing
We all share
May we always
Give gratitude
To our Mother Earth

All I Got

All I Got

This is for all my brothers and sisters living behind the Iron Gate. I send my thoughts and prayers:

ALL I GOT

Sometimes the morning sun

Is all I got

Sometimes it is the memory

Of you and me

Is all I got

Sometimes today

Is all I got

I push forward

Through these steel gates

Some of them are mine

Fences topped

With those nasty barbs

Wanting to rip me apart

Bleeding from places you never dream of

I still dream of tomorrow

I still dream

Yet today is all I got

Opinions don’t matter here

Fly’s listening on the concrete walls

Survival takes on a new attitude

Trust develops into a new concept

Learning the meaning of silence

Solitude

I still dream

Sometimes the morning sun

Is all I got

Sometimes it is

The ancient memory

Wanting to be Free

Coming Generations

Coming Generations

GenerationsA few thoughts…
For some of us the journey has been a long, long steep climb up that formidable Mountain which whispers in our Soul, Seekers of Truth…Warriors of Peace, or maybe that which is undefinable…I call it a yearning to fill that void that exists within each one of us. As the fog has begun to clear on my journey up this lonely yet majestic mountain, I can look back and see what I have accomplished, I can look forward and see the climb ahead, and then there is this very moment… the moss on the rock, a cricket, the cracks on my calloused feet, the ones who have come and gone….Life is such a perfect reflection for each of us regardless of age.
I ponder my life, conscious choices and otherwise, those coming from the dark recesses of my soul, the good, bad and the ugly, embracing the broken man that I am and the struggle that comes with embracing self love, all of it…..Gently, with much forgiveness, I sense the inner growth, yet to arrive and committed…the loyal Wolf that I am…
I was given a Greek Proverb this week from a client…it hit my Heart:
“A society grows great
when old men
plant a grove of trees
whose shade they know
they shall never sit in”

I am going to go plant that grove of trees!

My Dear Friend

My Dear Friend

MyDearFriendMy Dear Friend

May the sacred wind carry you gently to your destination and the moon reveal the ancient trail. May your deepest longing be realized and the hope you carry deep inside, lift you when the light grows dim and the sacred fire has turned to ash.

Look up, look up, my dear friend, when you hear that lone goose flying gracefully overhead! That is me, your lifelong companion! Let me fly ever so low and allow my sacred wing to wisp across your forehead, bless your spirit eye so that you can see more clearly.

Fly with me as you make that lonely climb up that holy mountain. Let me carry you softly in my wings as the ancient ones protect you. Remember, you have been given the gift of life and another day to love those that are dear to your heart.

Turn your eyes towards the sacred and you will be given the understanding of why things are the way they are. During this time, please forgive yourself for the mistakes you feel you have made. You are on the right path, the path of self-love.

There will come a time when we will join again, and fly together to our homeland.
